Patina necklaces

With party season just around the corner, we’re excited to introduce our new collection of patina necklaces.

Combining the clean and refined cylinder of our Nola necklace with the rich and vibrant finishes of our Bayley patina cufflinks, our latest collection of necklaces is perfect for the colourful minimalist.

Featuring a deep and lustrous colour palette, the Nola Amethyst purple, Teal blue, Prussian blue and Quink black patina necklaces were made for injecting rich colour into your autumn wardrobe, adding that final detail to a party look or gifting to a special someone.

Whether you’re dressing up or dressing down, we’ve got a shade to suit your style so you can have fun experimenting with pops of colour this season.

The colour palette is achieved using a process informed by ancient patina techniques, with each pendant being individually and artistically finished with London based patina artist Derek Bayley. Combinations of metals and chemicals are oxidised through atmospheric exposure and layered to create the deep and beautiful finishes of our pieces.

Each pendant begins as a precision turned piece, which is prepared through sandblasting or cleaning with a fine abrasive. Each piece is then precisely heated with a blow torch and specific chemicals, including Titanium Oxide, Potassium Sulphide, Iron Nitrate, and Copper Nitrate, are mixed into each pendant’s colour reaction recipe and expertly applied by hand. Finally, the colourful pendant is threaded onto a 60cm gold plated snake chain.

As our patina process is completed by hand, no two necklaces are ever the same, offering you a truly special piece of jewellery that you can wear and enjoy for years to come, or a unique gift for a loved one.
