A collection of cufflinks, tie bars and cuff bracelets are made up of solid 925 silver and solid 9 and 18 carat gold. Inspired by Brutalism these pieces highlight the history of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Featuring polished, matte and blasted finishes, we juxtapose the raw industrial history of post-war Birmingham with the clean honesty of Silversmithing. Curves meeting flat edges, polished faces meeting textures, mixing the raw and the refined.
Celebrating making here in Britain, Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter is known as the ‘city of a thousand trades’ and a powerhouse of industrial innovation. Our skilled Silversmith is housed in the heart of the jewellery quarter where he is personally dedicated to the individual quality and refinement of each piece. Once cast or hand-formed, we de-sprue, file, clean, grind, buff and polish each piece individually. Every piece is hallmarked with our unique stamp at the Birmingham assay certifying its provenance and its material.
Inspired by brutalist architecture we juxtapose flat surfaces with curves and focus on textures as well as the form.
