Details

  • Inspired by 'the beauty of imperfection' and made using Water Casting, this design led necklace and earring gift set derives from the age-old process of Lost Wax Casting.
  • Residual silver from the traditional casting process is collected, melted down and dropped into water to create beads to recycle. By experimenting with the water drop process, adapting the height and size of the molten metal droplets that fall into the water, we influence the forms created at this stage of the process and use the silver in a zero-waste single cycle.
  • Each large charm we create in the water has its own unique form and character. It has a freshwater finish, a mysterious calm matte tone created when the molten silver plunges into cold water and solidifies quickly.
  • The fine silver charms are paired with a long and contrasting rich gold chain and also crafted into stud earrings by Dave in our workshop to create a truly unique women's designer necklace and earring gift set.
  • Created as a sign of optimism, each gold designer necklace or earring we create is a one-off piece that has evolved from fresh eyes on an age-old technique.
  • Maya means water and this design led gold and silver set makes a beautiful and thoughtful gift that represents positivity, change, and responsibility.

Every piece of Alice Made This jewellery is covered by a one-year warranty on receipt of valid proof of purchase. Within 1 year of purchase, if your jewellery needs repair, please let us know via our Customer Care team and we will provide you with a full repair service free of charge. This warranty is in addition to other rights you may have in relation to the piece. Items no longer under warranty can still be repaired for a fee - please contact our Customer Care team.
