Instrmnt: Our first Scottish retailer

Posted on January 21, 2016 by Amelia Ebdon

We have long admired the high quality, minimalist products of Instrmnt and now we are pleased to announce that the Glasgow-based design studio has become our first Scottish retailer.

Celebrating simple and honest designs, Instrmnt has opened its flagship store on Parnie Street in Glasgow’s Trongate neighbourhood. Featuring a curated collection of clean and refined products from brands including Ajoto, Edition Scotland and Hancock, visitors will be able to browse cufflinks and lapel pins from Alice Made This as well as Instrmnt’s watch collection and London built 2-speed bike.

With furnishings from Vitsoe and Hay, Dieter Rams’ 606 Universal shelving system, lighting by Folk, and a bespoke daybed designed in collaboration with Namon Gaston, the Instrmnt store is proof that Glasgow’s reputation as a lifestyle hub is ever increasing.

If you’re in the area, be sure to drop by and enjoy this wonderfully precise store. Meanwhile, as our way of celebrating here in London, we have paired some of our favourite watches from the Instrmnt 01 collection with the raw metal tones of our steel and copper Alexander cufflinks.
