From 18th September to October 16th 2015, Alice Made This will be featured in MULTIPLEX, an immersive, multi-sensory department store presented by Tom Dixon and Wallpaper*. Held at the Old Selfridges Hotel, MUTLIPLEX brings together design, technology, fashion, film and interiors in an exploration of how retail might look, sound, smell, taste and feel in the future.
MULTIPLEX is held at a time when the capital celebrates design and creativity, with London Fashion Week, London Design Week, the BFI London Film Festival and the Frieze art fair. This experiment aims to bring together powerful experiences, bespoke services and unique products, imagining the future of retail.
MULTIPLEX was instigated by Tom Dixon, a British furniture designer who Alice used to work closely with, and includes a number of collaborating brands. Visitors will be able to explore departments dedicated to technology, home, fashion, beauty, jewellery, as well as a food hall. The space will host an eclectic range of events, installations, pop-ups and interventions.
